About the Breeder....

My name is Pam Atwell, and I have been a breeder of  Persians since 1998. I have a small cattery in my home in Lincolnton, North Carolina. We have a large 12 X 24 foot bonus room separated into 3 large rooms for the males. My girls roam free. None of the cats are caged. The kittens have their own room with lots of room to play until they have been vaccinated. The kittens stay here at Catwells' until they are 12 weeks old. This is the age when they are ready for their homes after being well socialized.

I am married to Dan, who helps me spoil the cats. I have a daughter, Stephanie, who was born with Down Syndrome. She helps me love and spoil the cats and babies. She is so loving, and gentle and wants to keep all the kitties. I have 3 other daughters, all grown. I have 11 grandchildren including 2 step grandchildren. The grandchildren love to come and play with all the cats and kittens.

I specialize in Bi-Colors, but have whites, and have added the beautiful Silvers to my program. My Bi-Color lines include Purrinlot, Cacao, Chantilylace, Petmar, just to name a few. My whites are from Sundew and Steeplechase. The Silvers include Ultamint, and Kittikamir. I wish to thank my mentors over the years including Laura Thomas, Jean Green, and Tammy Mendez.

I have been showing in CFA since 2004. I don't get to show as much as I would like to because of family commitments. I am involved in my church. I am a born again Christian and share my faith when and where ever the Lord leads.
