THERE IS NO SUCH THING AS A "TOY" OR "TEA CUP" PERSIAN ! Silvers and Goldens have always been smaller than other colors of Persians. An Average Silver/Golden Female weighs 5-7 pounds, Average Male weighs between 6-9 pounds. These new websites are misleading the unsuspecting pet owners into thinking this trait is rare, coveted, or new, and charging them extraordinary prices ($2000-$4000) for PET quality cats. Make yourself an educated consumer. Silver & Golden Persians must conform to the Persian Breed Standards. In addition, they must also meet the specific Color Class standards.
