About the Breeder....

My name is Pam Atwell, and I have been a breeder of  Persians since 1998. I have a small cattery in my home in Lincolnton, North Carolina. I am proud that all my breeding cats are PKD/DNA tested negative. We have a large 12 X 24 foot bonus room separated into 3 large rooms for the males. My girls roam free. None of the cats are caged. The kittens have their own room with lots of room to play until they have been vaccinated. The kittens stay here at Catwells' until they are 12 weeks old. This is the age when they are ready for their homes after being well socialized.  They also have been vaccinated twice.

  I am married to Dan, who helps me spoil the cats. I have a daughter, Stephanie, who was born with Down Syndrome. She helps me love and spoil the cats and babies. She is so loving, and gentle and wants to keep all the kitties. I have 3 other daughters, all grown. I have 11 grandchildren including 2 step grandchildren. The grandchildren love to come and play with all the cats and kittens.

 I specialize in Bi-Colors, but also have the beautiful White. My Bi-Color lines include Purrinlot, Cacao, Chantilylace, and Jovan, just to name a few. My whites are from Sundew and Steeplechase lines. I have a very small Silver Persian program as well.  Lines are from Ultamint and Kittikamir Silvers. I had thought of giving the silvers up but through encouragement from friends, I have decided to breed on a very small scale, both Silvers and Bi-colors.I wish to thank my mentors over the years including Laura Thomas, Jean Green,  Tammy Mendez. Gail Persinger, and many others. I also want thank all the wonderful breeders for trusting me with their cats. My cats have been loved as family, not just as pets. 

 I have been showing in CFA since 2004. I don't get to show as much as I would like to because of family commitments. I am involved in my church. I am a born again Christian and share my faith when and where ever the Lord leads.
